A repipe is a complete replacement of the entire water distribution system beginning at the transition point of the exterior water service and the interior water distribution system and terminating at the fixture in the residence. In some instances only a single line repipe is necessary due to damage to only one water distribution line.
The Process:
A repipe is a long term solution as the entire water distribution piping is replaced from the transition point coming into the residence. A typical home repipe is completed in three (3) days with a minimum interruption of water service to the residence (usually less than 4 hours).
