“A SAFETY FIRST COMMITMENT”
Interstate Plumbing & Air Conditioning, LLC would like to share with you our “Safety First Commitment.” We believe the safety of our employees and the public is of the utmost importance. Workplace accidents cost employers millions of dollars every day in medical claims and property damage, but more importantly, injuries cost employees their lives and the lives of those around them. Interstate’s Safety Policy presents guidelines by which we should conduct our business and the business of “safety” every day. We believe that:
- All injuries and accidents are preventable through the establishment and compliance with safe work procedures.
- The prevention of bodily injury and safeguarding of health are the first considerations in all workplace actions and are the responsibility of every employee at every level.
- Written safety plans describing safe work practices are an essential element of the overall workplace safety program. All employees at every level are responsible for knowing and following written safety protocols.
- Continued support and practice of on-the-job safety protocols will help all employees to be similarly safe and aware of potential hazards off the job, thus enhancing the safety of our overall community.
We, at Interstate, believe strongly in making safety a priority for everyone, and in making the “Safety First Commitment.”
Sincerely,
James P. Manning, CEO
